Happy Birthday Jackie

I received an email yesterday from Ira Glasser to remind me that January 30 was Jackie Robinson’s birthday. He would have been 90. Had he lived, he would have been a very happy and surprised guy.

    Jackie was a remarkable man, far more complicated than most biographers have approached.

    Have you read Michael D’Antonio’s article in this week’s Sports Illustrated making the very strong case that it was Bob Moses and not Walter O’Malley that cost Brooklyn their beloved Dodgers? If so, what is your reaction?
